Club Rush Showcases Wilson’s Diversity

Associated Student Body (ASB) hosted its annual Club Rush to introduce new Wildcats to the school’s diverse interests on Sept. 13 and 14.

To prepare, ASB held an Inter-Clubs Council meeting, and each club created unique handouts to entice the student body to join.

According to ASB advisor Patricia Brancoiner-Habash, Club Rush provided students with an opportunity to find their  interests.

“Our goal is to get as many students to join a club as they see fit, because Club Rush is a great [way] for students to discover a passion,” Habash said.

In addition, ASB Head of Clubs senior Isabella Cao believes that, despite its chaotic environment, Club Rush is a beneficial event.

“Every year, there is always a lot going on, from the music to the number of booths,” Cao said. “[However, Club Rush] is still fun and a good representation of Wilson.”

Furthermore, freshman Justin Huh enjoyed club rush because of the spirit and camaraderie each club demonstrated.

“Club Rush was a great [experience], because I could tell that everyone was extremely passionate about the [organizations] that they were in,” Huh said. “It shows that there are many opportunities to [explore] different interests.”

The next ASB event is Homecoming on Oct. 13 at 7 P.M.
