Life with COVID contest







With these unprecedented times, students have drastically different schedules and routines compared to previous years. Show us how you make the best of pandemic life!



Poetry:

Submissions must be school appropriate. Note that if your work is selected, it will be published publicly on the Paw Prints Weekly website. Create a poem that reflects your feelings, thoughts, or experiences of living through a pandemic. There are no regulations on style, length, or format. Include your name and grade on your work, and the poem must be typed in Times New Roman (Size 12). Please submit your writing to gawhspawprintsweekly@gmail.com and title your email “Life through Covid- Poem”


Art:

Submissions must be school appropriate. Note that if your work is selected, it will be published publicly on the Paw Prints Weekly website. Create an artwork that reflects your feelings, thoughts, or experiences of living through a pandemic. Please take a photo of your art, and submit it to gawhspawprintsweekly@gmail.com. Title your email “Life through Covid- Art,” and include your name and grade in the email, as well as a short description of your work. Acceptable files are JPEG, PNG, and PDF.

This category requires a series of 8-10 describing life amidst a pandemic. Subjects of photography are up to the photographer’s discretion. Examples can be photos of baking, spending time with family, walking the dog, and more. Please submit your writing to gawhspawprintsweekly@gmail.com and title your email “Life through Covid- Photo.” In the email, include your name and grade, and acceptable file types are JPEG, PNG, and PDF.
